I started DJing over a 15 years ago. In 2008 I started running my own event company, from weddings and private parties to corporate events. After all the planning was done, I became passionate about matching my clients vibe and intensity and sharing it with the rest of their guests. The DJ at every wedding is responsible for setting the tone through the music and lighting, emceeing, and coordinating the events that take place throughout the night. I’ve seen many weddings fall flat because of DJs who didn’t know how to entertain a crowd or would leave major gaps of silence in between songs, losing any build up they may have acquired.

Busy Bee was started 5 years ago by our founder, Anna Davis. With a passion for planning and organization skills, Anna wanted a job that she could do on her own terms while still having time to be a mother. "How long have you been doing photography" is a tricky question. I discovered a joy in photography during childhood. I built a foundation for photography in the darkroom during high school. I found a passion for photography when I began photographing music in 2009. Concert photos have a way of capturing energy and motion that just grabs you. Between the stage lights and the musicians it taught me how to capture passionate, uncontrollable situations. So I naturally progressed into weddings, where candid opportunities are endless. Where moments are organic, crazy, and last but a split second.

It's been over 20 years since I first began my journey as a photographer. Most of that has been devoted to weddings. I knew right away just after shooting my first wedding 14 years ago that I had found my calling. It was perfect because I could combine my passion for photography and love. I am a hopeless romantic at heart. When it comes to my work, I believe every detail matters. No wedding is too small. No detail is too insignificant. I strive to capture it all with the time we are given.
