"How long have you been doing photography" is a tricky question. I discovered a joy in photography during childhood. I built a foundation for photography in the darkroom during high school. I found a passion for photography when I began photographing music in 2009. Concert photos have a way of capturing energy and motion that just grabs you. Between the stage lights and the musicians it taught me how to capture passionate, uncontrollable situations. So I naturally progressed into weddings, where candid opportunities are endless. Where moments are organic, crazy, and last but a split second.

It's been over 20 years since I first began my journey as a photographer. Most of that has been devoted to weddings. I knew right away just after shooting my first wedding 14 years ago that I had found my calling. It was perfect because I could combine my passion for photography and love. I am a hopeless romantic at heart. When it comes to my work, I believe every detail matters. No wedding is too small. No detail is too insignificant. I strive to capture it all with the time we are given.
